Latifa has a background in politics, critical thinking, broadcast media technology, marine and environmental science, economic development, community organizing and quantum mechanics. She is bio-Logical mother of three and step mom to many moor. Neighborhood and community children call her "Tata-Tifa, a term of endearment given in the spirit of being as an extended family member to the youth.
