Latifa Muhammed Turner is a FilmMaker, Fashion Designer, Facilitator of Healing and Author. Her knew book is scheduled to come out March during women's history month. It features writings from 11 muslim women from around the country. Latifa is known for her resilience work on both land and at sea, Latifa is a trend setter who has developed a new style of genre called "DawnaNation." Latifa writes, directs and produces plays with a conscious message embedded in a good time, designed to inspire audiences to action, she frequently mixes actor with activist on the stage. Latifa has a background in politics, critical thinking, broadcast media technology, marine and environmental science, economic development, community organizing and quantum mechanics. She is bio-Logical mother of three and step mom to many moor. Neighborhood and community children call her "Tata-Tifa, a term of endearment given in the spirit of being as an extended family member to the youth.
